Infertility and reproductive mental health

Trying to build a family can bring profound hope, uncertainty, grief, and changes in how you understand yourself and your future. I offer inclusive, holistic, and supportive therapy for individuals navigating infertility, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, miscarriage, abortion, and other reproductive experiences.

Reproductive challenges can affect much more than plans for becoming a parent. Together, we might explore:

  • The emotional experience of infertility and fertility treatment

  • Grief following miscarriage, stillbirth, or pregnancy loss

  • Pregnancy after infertility or loss, when hope and fear can coexist

  • Decisions about fertility treatment and reproductive choices

  • Changes in identity, relationships, sexuality, and your sense of your body

  • The experience of watching others become parents while you are navigating infertility or loss

  • How to move forward when the future feels uncertain or different than you imagined

Pregnancy loss can bring a particularly complex form of grief. There may be sadness, anger, fear, guilt, relief, or feelings that are difficult to name. Therapy can offer a place to slow down and make space for whatever is here without minimizing or rushing the experience.

My approach is relational, collaborative, and curious, with an understanding that reproductive experiences are shaped by our relationships, identities, bodies, and larger social and cultural contexts. Whether you are beginning to explore your options, deep in fertility treatment, grieving a loss, or finding your way through pregnancy after loss, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and consider what comes next.
